Hour of Code in Kindergarten

Earlier this month our school participated in the Hour of Code. We learned the very basics of computer science and tried our hand at coding. The kids found that it required application of themselves to solve the problems given. It was really neat to see them engaged in this activity as well as to expose them to the possibilities of a job in computer science.

Gingerbread Decorating

Igloo

Last week I began constructing an igloo from all the milk jugs that we have collected. 

It took about 6 hours and around 375 milk jugs and then it was complete!
