We're on Facebook!

After receiving your feedback on the social media form that you completed at meet the teacher, I realized that Facebook was the most selected form of social media that parents gave permission for.

This is a new adventure for me. Please let me know if there is ever a post that you would prefer to have removed. This is a tool to communicate with you and I want to post only what you feel comfortable with. Also, feel free to tag the pictures if you would like to do so!

I am open to suggestions as to what to post. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas!
Of course, your likes and comments will also give me feedback on what you would like to see more of!

I am very excited to start the Facebook page as another way to showcase what we are working on at school. Please follow our page and share with friends and family that would enjoy seeing what is going on at school!

Writers Workshop: Adding Labels

During writing workshop, we are working hard!

We have learned that writers do the best they can and move on! We are working on writing down the sounds that we hear and moving on so that we get our idea on the paper without getting stuck.

I am so impressed with the writing that is going on. So many students are already adding labels to their writing and doing the best they can to tell a story from their lives in pictures and in words. :)

Our 1st Library Visit!

Last Friday we visited the library for the first time!

We met our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Janek. She and Pete the Cat explained the library procedures!
