Reading Timer App

Just wanted to share this free reading timer app from Scholastic. It would be great for keeping track of minutes if you are working on earning the aggie basketball tickets!

Features:
  • An interactive reading stopwatch for timing reading minutes
  • Personal profile which features the total minutes a child has read for the day, week, and throughout the year
  • Articles and daily tips for parents, which offer ideas to support growing readers
  • Book lists for ages 3-12, featuring recommended titles for every kind of reader

love bunny

I think Willie likes Valentine's Day as much as I do!
As soon as I got the valentine decor out, he posed with it!

Our little love bunny is looking for a place to stay over Spring Break. Let me know if you are interested in having him. :)

Also, if you are interested in letting Willie vacation at your home over the summer, please let me know. If it works out better, he could travel to another home halfway through the summer. :)

A little bitty peek into our math stations!

We have been working a lot on number order lately and identifying numbers that come before and after a chosen number. We are also doing math stories with addition and subtraction up to ten.

I have been so bad about getting pictures lately! Hoping to improve!

We are growing readers and writers!

Enjoying the Weather!

While the weather was so nice last week, we partnered up with Mrs. Gronberg's class for reading and writing outside.

Reading Buddies

Last Friday, we read outside with our 3rd grade reading buddies. The weather was so nice!

Author Visit: Debbie Leland

We were so lucky to have Debbie Leland visit our school last week to tell us about her writing and books. Our class was front row to hear all about it!

Macy was chosen from the audience to help tell the story of the Jalapeno Man!
