Number Work

We have been working hard on correct number formation. This week we did some special number writing practice with shaving cream!

We read Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons and every time we heard a number we practiced writing it!

For each number we have a learning a short rhyme to remember the correct formation:

1 - A line straight down and then you're done. That's the way to make a one. 

2 - Around and back on the choo choo track - Two Two! Two Two!

3 - Around the tree, Around the tree. That's the way to make a three. 

4 - Down and over, then down once more. That's the way to make a four.
