Tomorrow is our big day! Everyone that I talk to is encouraging me to rest and spend time at home. But I am so excited I can hardly stay away from school and when I am home I'm thinking about school. I truly love what I do and am anxious to begin the year.
I know that although this is also an exciting time for the families of my students, it also brings many other emotions. This is such a special time in your lives with a big transition for your children. I want the parents of my students to know that I appreciate so much the trust that you have in me. My responsibility is great and I do not take it lightly. I feel very privileged to give your children their first school experiences.
One of my favorite bloggers, Kelle Hampton, wrote about sending her five year old to Kindergarten last year. I love her honesty about the bittersweet feelings that come with this new chapter of life. She conveys these feelings in such a beautiful way. I encourage you to check it out by clicking HERE.
I am thrilled to get started on this journey together. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any thoughts or questions that you may I have.
Don't forget: Parent Orientation is September 2nd at 6pm in our classroom. :)
Rest Up! We have a big week.
