One day in early April, we came to school to find that Mama Hen had gone to run some spring errands and needed our help looking after her eggs. 
While we were away from the classroom, the eggs hatched!
The kids each built a nest and cared for a peep for the day.
We read to the peeps and wrote about the peeps.
