We started our morning by reading Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes.
We had fun singing his song!
We talked about some of the things we want to do at school each day and made a class promise. We all signed our name on the promise.
During math, we explored our classroom math tools. We learned the difference between toys and tools and talked about some of the things our tools can be used for (sorting, counting, etc.)
We did a great job in the cafeteria for lunch!
And just before we went home, we played at social stations with friends!
We had a wonderful first day! Looking forward to tomorrow!
Loved this post and pictures.. My son is really excited to start his new school year with new teacher and friends. He was talking a lot about his first day and now I see why he was so excited. Please keep posting .. Looking fwd to it.
