We have been practicing using tally marks, counting by 5's, and graphing by conducting surveys.
On Tuesday, we were asking each other "Do you prefer dogs or cats?"
Practice tally marks at home by counting the number of chairs, pets, people, beds, TV's, outlets, etc. that you have in your home. Bring in your work for a prize!
We are working hard on learning to count by 5's in order to read our tally marks.
