Concept of word refers to the ability of a reader to match spoken words to written words while reading. Students with a concept of word understand that each word is separate, and that words are separated by a space within each sentence.
Developing Concept of Word is a very important in the beginning of Kindergarten as it is an essential skill for understanding print and eventually learning to read print.
So we needed a really fancy tool to help us learn.... creepy witch fingers of course!
