The concept of the weekend is not as easy for the students to understand as one might assume. During our calendar time, we talk about what days are considered week days and the two that we consider the weekend: Saturday and Sunday.
This video is one that we use during calendar time to emphasize this idea.
You might play it at home to further your child's understanding!
