We got our week off to a wonderful start!
This week we are focusing on learning each other's names.
We will also use our names to begin out study of letters.
In one of our stations, we are matching pictures of our classmates
We are continuing our alphabet work by forming letters with play-doh.
In our work work station, we are wokring hard to spell each other's names.
More hard workers!
There is a lot of reading going on in our classroom library on our new couch!
We began our letter studies today with the letter "I"
During Writer's Workshop, we are working on adding labels to our writing work.
Some of our friends shared their great work!
Today we read "The Little Engine that Could"
In our class we are much like the little engine that had to do hard work but knew that he could do it.
We talked about saying positive things to ourselves such as "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can"
Our class is now part of the "I Can Club" where we will not be saying "I Can't".
